Although, (thankfully), there are no pictures to compare these to... I must say you followed in your sister's footsteps with style, managing to sink the car with grace and agility... in fine fashion.
You partook in the good-natured ribbing that was dished out to me by all of the members of the Buccaneer Region SCCA who witnessed the christening of the S.S. MarineSource back in the spring of this year, when I biffed on turn 6, causing an off-track excursion, which resulted in exploring the uncharted waters of the St. Augustine track.
So, Spaz, a.k.a. "Splash", I graciously pass the torch to you....

"That's not a fire extinguisher mounted on the roll bar.. it's an oxygen tank".. sound familiar Spaz?
FTD : Fastest To Dampen

"Next month we are installing a bilge pump".... laugh it up brother.. if you only knew where you would be within 30 minutes of these gut-busting comments
FTD : First To Dunk

"We have installed a snorkel system in case she sinks it again"..... where's your Moses now Spaz????
"We've got a swimmer!!!"

Here's a labeled picture, just to gain perspective... if you look closely, directly under the word "Vette" you will see a spec of sheen... which is the roof of the car, or, the dry part. Then, panning to the right,,just to the left of the word "Spaz" there is a speck of white.. this would be Eric's head/shoulder area, or, once again, the dry part....
In closing, I would like to say that Eric maintained his composure throughout the whole ordeal, and his sense of humor... and he rallied on his very next run and posted the FTD (fastest time of day), which he held onto for quite a while. In the end, two drivers made it around the track only slightly faster. Nice recovery Spaz :)
